Not surprising this is a common feeling students and their families experience when it comes to planning for, getting into, and being successful in college.
A state school might look like a bargain; however, if there’s no support for helping a student graduate in four years, the eventual price tag could be about the same as a smaller private school. It will take my son an extra 6 semesters to graduate now!!” – Parent

We are changing how families experience gearing up for college.
Because as soon as we start talking about success in college, we learned the road to college is lined with a serious lack of clear, transparent, and cohesive information. The journey is fragmented.
Let me explain. If you want to know about college savings programs, test prep + test taking, or individual colleges, there is lots of info. If you want unbiased information, or have a nuanced question, then you need to dig and dig, and try to figure out if what you find is right.
Families and students told us they needed help – so we built it. Our promise is to make it affordable so it’s accessible. Because that’s just who we are.
At the center of what we are doing and why we are doing it is you and your student. We are committed to creating what you need so you can accomplish what you set out to do. Get your student into college. Support them in being successful.
Why are we doing this?
We were working on a student success project for a university and talking to students and families. Something happened in our listening. We heard time and time again about the need for a detailed road map to college. People were confused, overwhelmed and anxious (as well as being excited, proud, and sometimes a little nostalgic). They were asking for someone to make sense of it all for them. We began to understand. Then it seemed like we could do something about it. Something meaningful. And then we were in.
We are parents. We have either navigated these same roads, or are doing so now. We are professionals. We have been on the inside of higher education. We are people like you who want to make a difference. Please meet the team and find out more about us.
When you join My College Navigation Hub, you become a part of a community. You can tap into a network of other people, who like you, are supporting a student in achieving their dreams. Everything you need is in The Hub, where you can learn from and talk to each other in The Forum, get The Scoop on key topics, and subscribe to the Blog, for personal stories and thought pieces.
We invite you to tell us how we can continue to make this a valued and trusted source of information and guidance on your journey to college. There will be plenty of opportunities to create with us. If that’s something you are willing to do, drop us a line and we will add you to our co-creators list.
